The Jedediah Thomas Smith Memorial Luncheon

A lot of you have been asking about our largest event, the Jedediah Thomas Smith Memorial Luncheon which was a great success last year and we're hoping will be again this year. The date has been set for August 27, 2011 and we are in the preliminary planning stages.

The Luncheon will be held at the Great American Saloon in Red Lion, Pennsylvania on August 27, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We feature live music, buffet style all you can eat food (usually casual fare such as salad, chicken fingers, pasta salad, mozzarella sticks, a variety of snack trays, meatballs, etc. and plenty of desserts) a cash bar, a large silent auction and raffle, face painting and t-shirt sales.

Last year we welcomed over 400 members of the community and beyond for an afternoon of honoring children who have lost their battle with pediatric cancer but whose spirits remain prominent in our lives. That one afternoon raised $11,434!
